1. Overview
Welcome to Beauty Bar by Kristina Ruggerio (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are a full-service
salon, makeup studio, medspa, and day spa offering a wide range of beauty and wellness
services, including injectables. By booking an appointment or receiving any service from us,
you agree to the following Terms of Service.
2. Booking Policy
Appointments may be scheduled through our booking software (Mangomint.com), by phone
at (302) 658-4400, or in person as a walk-in. To confirm an appointment, we require a 50%
deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is applied toward your total service balance on
the day of your appointment.
3. Payment Policy
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks for all services and retail purchases.
Payment in full is required upon completion of your appointment.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we appreciate advance notice for cancellations or
rescheduling.
- 48-hour notice: Deposit (50%) is non-refundable and retained as a cancellation fee.
- 24-hour notice: 100% of the service cost will be charged to the card on file.
- No-shows: Result in immediate client termination and permanent booking restriction.
All cancellations and rescheduling must be made by phone and speaking directly with a
team member. If you call outside of business hours (Sunday or Monday), please leave a
voicemail within the required timeframe or email us at bbkrfrontdesk@gmail.com to ensure
your request is documented.
5. Refund & Redo Policy
All sales are final.
- No refunds are issued for any retail merchandise or services.
- For color corrections, we offer a corrective service performed by the same stylist at no
additional cost.
- If you choose to have another stylist perform the correction, standard service rates apply.
- We do not offer discounts, partial refunds, or credits for dissatisfaction.
6. Waivers & Client Safety
For your safety and compliance with industry standards, all medspa and day spa clients
(including massage, facials, injectables, and similar treatments) are required to complete
and sign a liability waiver prior to receiving any services.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not complete the necessary
consent forms or appears unsuitable for the requested treatment.
7. Privacy Policy
We collect and securely store client information, including name, phone number, email
address, and photos, for appointment scheduling, communication, and recordkeeping.
Your information is used solely for business purposes and is never sold or shared with third
parties without consent.
8. Photography & Social Media
We may take before-and-after photos of clients for educational or promotional use on social
media platforms.
We will request verbal or written consent prior to taking and posting any identifiable
photos.
9. House Rules
To ensure a comfortable and professional environment for all guests:
- Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in shortened services
or rescheduling.
- We kindly ask that you do not bring guests, children, or pets unless necessary.
- Respectful behavior toward our staff and other clients is expected at all times.
10. Liability Disclaimer
By booking or receiving services from Beauty Bar by Kristina Ruggerio, you acknowledge
that certain treatments involve inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions
or sensitivity. You agree to release the salon, its employees, and affiliates from any liability
arising from known or unknown reactions to services received.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved within Delaware’s applicable jurisdiction.
12. Agreement
By booking, confirming, or attending your appointment, you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and agree to abide by the above Terms of Service.
